You get all the fragrance of cloves, cardamom and star anise, plus a double dose of immune-boosting curcumin, topped with notes of orange and peppery ginger. We really like this blend: the sweet chai smooths out the bitter heat of the turmeric, and the colour is basically sunshine in a bowl. Curcumin also takes chai’s health benefits to the next level. It can help reduce inflammation, increase the body’s anti-oxidant levels, improve brain function and slow your risk of heart disease. Pro serving tip: for a little oomph, garnish with a pinch of cayenne pepper.

 

Origin: Multiple Origins.

Ingredients: Organic Black Tea, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves, Ginger, Star Anise, Turmeric, Black Peppercorns.

Serving suggestion: Add 2 heaped teaspoon to 1 cup of milk. Simmer on a low heat for 5 minutes (don’t let it boil). Sweeten with honey to taste.

Storage: Store below 180C in a dry place, out of light.
